Cruisin’ Tikis Pittsburgh offers 2 hour sightseeing charters on the Three Rivers.

our 2  hour sightseeing cruises are $410.00 for up to six people.

*each of our tiki boats can only hold up to six guests due to u.s. coast guard regulations. there are no exceptions. for groups of up to 12 people, we have two identical size boats that can be tied together. For groups of up to 18 people, we have three boats to accommodate your larger group (unfortunately, we cannot tie three boats together).

we do not have larger boats for larger groups. 

charters board on Pittsburgh's north shore, near pnc park, or at our station square marina location. Cruises will include spectacular photo opportunities from the water of iconic Pittsburgh landmarks and local points of interest. each of Our Cruisin’ Tiki boats carry up to a maximum of six people, along with an experienced, fully licensed Coast Guard certified Captain.

*We do not offer "per seat" or individual seats. we take group reservations only.

**Due to covid-19, we are not currently offering a cooler, ice, or bottled water. we will continue to provide cups, but guests are encouraged and welcome to bring their own coolers and ice.

guests are welcome to bring their favorite beverages and snacks.

each tiki boat is equipped with a four speaker bluetooth enabled stereo system for your listening pleasure.

*there are no restrooms on our boats, but we do make a stop halfway through the cruise, and additional stops along the way if necessary.

FRequently asked questions

should i tip the captain?     Yes! Our captains do work for tips, so gratuity is greatly appreciated. we suggest a 20% gratuity for our captains. they are very experienced, knowledgeable, and work hard to provide an amazing and safe Tiki experience for our guests.

where do we board our tiki boat at? we NOW offer the option of boarding at our north shore location near PNC Park, or at the Marina at station square!

what about restrooms? our tikis are not equipped with restrooms, but our captains do make a scheduled restroom stop approximately half way through your cruise. we strongly encourage our guests to use the restroom before boarding for their cruise.

Will i be required to show id?     yes, those guests intending to transport, possess, or consume alcohol during their cruise will be required to show valid identification to the captain verifying that they are 21 years of age or older. no exceptions!

Are there available life jackets on board?      Yes, there is a type 1 pfd for every passenger. along with all the coast guard requirements for the vessel including a first aid kit.

can more than six people cruise at the same time?     coast guard regulations allow only six charter customers on each tiki boat, no exceptions! however, we do have three tiki boats to accommodate groups of up to 18 people.

are children allowed?     YES, children thirteen years old and above are allowed but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. we don't want them missing out on a chance to cruise on a tiki boat.

how fast does the tiki boat go?     the tiki boat has a cruising speed of around 4 to 6 mph. 

who is my captain?     All of our captains have been vetted, trained, and certified thru the u.S. coast guard requirements. all our captains have been chosen based on their experience with boating, and their knowledge of the area and local rivers.

what are your cancellation and inclement weather policies?     cancellations made with at least 72 hours notice OF YOUR SCHEDULED CRUISE TIME will be offered a full refund OR YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO RESCHEDULE. cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice are non-refundable AND NON REBOOKABLE, REGARDLESS OF THE REASON FOR CANCELLATION. we reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical, or behavioral issues. if your tour is cancelled BY US, you will be given a full refund or a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral, along with alcohol related cancellations). “No shows” will not be refunded and will be charged the full price.

do your boats operate in the rain?     Yes, we do operate in the rain as the tiki boats are covered with a thatched roof. however, the captain can decide at any time to cancel due to unsafe weather or hazardous river conditions. our captains may “wait out” a passing heavy shower or thunderstorm.

what can the tiki boat be used for?     besides relaxing with a cold beverage, we can pretty much book anything you can imagine! from Bachelorette and bachelor parties, corporate meetings, birthday parties, to special concert event charters. you can even allow us to help you pop the question to your special loved one. just give us a call at (833)pgh-tiki to inquire.

can i play my own music on board?     yes, we have a bluetooth capable, four speaker marine stereo system that can sync to your phone so you can play your choice of music.

do you provide food and drinks?      we do not provide, sell, or serve alcoholic beverages. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, we are not offering a cooler, ice, or bottled water at this time. guests are encouraged and welcome to bring their own coolers packed with their favorite beverages. we do not provide any other food or beverages. you are welcome to bring your favorite beverages and snacks, or you can purchase food from one of the amazing restaurants located on the north shore or at station square and bring it on board with you..

where can i park? there are several safe and convenient parking options available on the north shore of pittsburgh near the tiki pick up spot, or at station square. for suggested parking locations, go to alco parking north shore or station square.

We here at Cruisin’ Tikis Pittsburgh have been hard at work reshaping our policies to ensure the safety of our staff and guests. We have aligned our cleaning procedures with the guidance of health experts and authorities including the cdc, federal, and state governments. we want our guests to feel comfortable knowing that we have taken every precaution to keep them, their families, and their friends safe during these unprecedented times.

be aware that we are continuing to monitor and respond to the ongoing circumstances surrounding Covid-19 and may update our policies accordingly in the future.

  • until further notice, we will no longer provide a cooler, bagged ice, or bottled water. Guests are encouraged and welcome to bring their own coolers to insure the safety of our captains and guests.

  • our tiki boats will be cleaned and disinfected at the start of the day, and will be cleaned and sanitized in between cruises. this will include the bar area, bar stools, railings, and other high touch areas.

  • our captains will adhere to social distancing guidelines whenever possible. be aware that they may need to move about the tiki boat during the cruise to ensure the safety of all guests while on board.

  • Our guests are not required to wear a mask during their cruise.

  • hand sanitizer will be readily available to all guests.
